I doubt a first year DAL FO could clear that much unless he was flying a very large plane right off.
If memory serves me right, a 737-200, first year FO makes 54.00 an hour. If he flew the 1000 hours max the FAA allows, that is about 54k a year. But I doubt he would get that 1000, probably be more like 72 hours a month...or app 47K. Factor in other stuff, per diem ect, I am sure it is a little higher, but not 80K.

That $54 is for closed door time ie when the cockpit door is closed. Pilots make money when they are on duty and away from home ie get paid to sleep paid when in between flights and on duty etc so they clear more than just the $54 per hr
