Did Two Planes Go Around At LGA Today?

I was walking around campus at around 10:30 this morning and 2 planes (couldnt really tell the first because of the angle but it looked like a US A320, and the second was a US Dash 8) flew by in a pattern that i have never seen. They were really low and heading north about 1/4 of a mile west of the hudson river and i was about 1 mile north of the GWB when I saw them. No other planes flew this pattern for the following hour but some were flying the normal approach.

I'm not familiar with traffic patterns at the NYC airports, but its definately possible they were go arounds. Keep in mind go arounds are by no means rare. They occur everyday at probably every major airport. I've seen up to 6 in one day myself at PHL. I've also had to perform a go around as a student pilot 3 times in 45 or so hours of flying due to traffic on the runway.

You have to wait a bit longer loading. Does the map show it up? Umm, maybe you have missing program running for applet or something else. I'm not sure what kind your computer is it. It depends run for program specific. Ask technical for applet program how to install it. Good luck.
