Oneworld - Qantas
Star - Air New Zealand
Qantas has a bed in business class. Air New Zealand has no bed in first class.
OneW 1 Star 0
Oneworld- Cathay Pacific
Star - Singapore, ANA, and others
All reputable carriers with advanced products. OneW 2 Star 1
Oneworld - British Airways
Star - Spanair (LoW CoSt!!!) Lufthansa
BA clearly takes the winner with leading the first horizontal bed EVER on a plane and they have all the celebrities and the PM and the Royal family. OneW 3 Star 1
OneWorld - American Airlines
Star - United, US Airways
All have customer service issues, riddled in debt and most perform averagly. OneW 4 Star 2
(NOT ENOUGH DATA/AIRLINES/MY KNOWLEDGE FOR AFRICA)
So from my Point Of View Oneworld with nearly half the members of Star take the prize because of the much developed and widely supproted products. Of course with the exception of Asia were nearly all international carriers have great reputations and none really out perform the others.
Ohh and buy the way STAR SUCK.... You spend US$100k a year on Star, you get star gold, you only get business class check-in/lounges. And their are more people on your level waitlisiting. However on Oneworld their is emerald which entitles the most priority waitlisting, first class access everything! So the best customers are appreciated and the cheap buggers @ star dont wont to cater for other airlines best customers!

Forgive my ignorance (and age) but what the hell is that website on about???
It's the question that drives you.
Apologise not for your lack of knowledge (and age) - on the path to enlightenment you are.
Please accept this complimentary piece of wisdom and move on to the closest Qantas security gate!
