In order to be at the MAN meet in July, I want to fly via LCY with at least one segment on a RJ100/146. Which Airlines and which itinerary do I need to fly?
I know for example that AF flies their cityjet into LCY but they want more than € 700,- for AMS-CDG-LCY. And then I probably have to book VLM F50 to MAN. Way to expensive. For the same amount of money I can Buy 2 tickets to NY.
Any advice would be very appreciated.

So the MAN meeting is on 10th/11th of July right? Why not flying AMS-ZRH on the 10th early in the morning for EUR59 on Swiss (there you'll have your RJ100 ), then connecting to another Swiss flight to LCY (they have several this day with still low fares...).

VLM fares between LCY and MAN start at 20GBP or 35GBP (excl. taxes).
If you are able to book well in advance and/or willing to take an off peak flight, then you should have no problems in getting this fare.

Swiss was the cheapest from GVA to LCY.
Cheapest itinerary I found was AMS-GVA with EZY 319, GVA-LCY with Swiss RJ100 and LCY-MAN with VLM F50. Round trip total aprox. € 271.
But I waited too long and it is way too expensive now.
I want at least an outbound flight with any BAe146/AvroRJ type out of LCY.
I know LH, AF and LX fly to LCY with Jumbolino's. Any other airlines using this equipment on this route?
I'm very charmed with this lovely little airport and Avro RJ's as well. And my opinion is when you want to fly to or from LCY in style it has to be an Avro RJ. Correct?
