Hi guys.

I have a ticket to fly on Air Canada on June 22 from YYZ - MUC - WRO, and returning on the 10 of August.

The problem is this; on the outbound leg the connection is 7 hours long. I don't know what I'll do with myself for that long at an airport. Originally I was planning on taking a trip into the city during this time and then returning before my next flight was to leave.

I went on http://www.lufthansa.com and looked up if there were any other possibilities on that same day. It turns out that there is one that would get me to my destination 4 hours earlier, however the routing would be YYZ - YUL - MUC - WRO, and returning WRO - MUC - YYZ. I was wondering if it would be possible to change to this flight, even with the V fare class. I was also wondering what "NON - RRTE" stands for.

Thanks in advance!

To answer this question, we'd need access to the fare rules for your ticket. Your best bet would be to contact Air Canada (or whomever you bought the tickets from) and see what your options are.

EmiratesA345, "NON-RRTE" stands for "NON-REROUTABLE", so you couldn't change your ticket to YYZ-YUL-FRA-WRO, for example, or YYZ-FRA-WRO: whatever you change (should changes be permitted), it has to stay the same route.

By the way, did you get the eMail that I sent you a while back (in response to yours)?

Regards,
Frank
