Hi every one, I need some clarity on this issue.

I have seen articles before about airlines buying slots from each other. WOuld that only happen if say AA sold slots to UA or can UA sell slots to some one like SAA.

SAA for a while have been pushing for more slots at LHR, yet never seem to get them, what I want to know is, can they buy them from other airlines and if so what would the possile conditions be?

I ask this as I just read an article about Qantas starting aditional flights to LHR.
