Doubts with spare parts for the F-70/100??? Check this out...

Dutch planemaker Fokker, was finally wound up on Friday eight years after it went bankrupt.
The Commercial Court of Amsterdam declared the bankruptcy of NV Koninklijke Vliegtuigenfabriek Fokker as ended on Friday morning, together with two other Fokker companies, with just 69 million euros (USD$82 million) left to distribute among creditors.
Engineering group Stork assures the maintenance of the hundreds of Fokker planes still in operation.

Well, so this is definitely it. I can't believe it's already been eight years since they went bankrupt.

Didn't some other company buy Fokker just before they went out of business ? Maybe we should call on one of our Dutch friends to clarify some things  Smile

Yup, DaimlerChrysler bought Fokker before it went out of business. I am not sure if it was Daimler or already DaimlerChrysler. Anyway the CEO of Daimler at that time (forgot his name) called Fokker the "Love Baby" of the company at the moment of the takeover. Sadly, they were lying and forced Fokker to go banktrupt.

Stork, the engineering company, own the remains of this fallen apart love baby.

They take care of all service related to the operation of Fokkers around the world.

So this must mean Rekkof can finally take over the name Fokker??? Big grin
