Singapore! I know there is really no reason for them to open up this market, but it would make spotting there MUCH more interesting to me. I am sure there are other airlines I would enjoy seeing in ATL, but that was the first one to come to my mind.

I wouldn't mind seeing bmi British Midland come in and compete on the ATL-MAN route. Nor would I mind seeing Virgin Atlantic come in on the ATL-LGW route (I think the only Virgin a/c ATL will be seeing in the next few years is Virgin USA). It would be nice to see Swiss come to ATL as well. Alitalia may be coming to ATL in the near future.

Deltaborn,
You just addressed the very reason that I quit flying Delta, and started getting all of my miles on Star Alliance carriers when UAX started flying into CAE. I had over 400,000 FF miles with Delta, and could not get to Australia with them. I am sure it is possible now with the Skyteam alliance, but it is still not easy. Nevertheless, my UAL miles worked just fine. It's a shame really.

So the AS rumor is not so hot and heavy anymore. My guess is that ATL-SEA might be one of the first if not the first new city AirTran announces next year. I wouldn't mind seeing Air Canada return (as opposed to the Air Canada Jazz flights we have @ ATL), but I'm not holding my breath for that one. A few other airlines I wouldn't mind seeing start service to ATL:
Iberia
TAP
Aer Lingus
Canjet
Jetsgo
Mexicana (Not very likely, I just want to see some other metal from South of the Border @ ATL)
25 ACAfan: The airline (and aircraft) which I would like to come to Atlanta, but would only come is it were to join SlyTeam, which is highly unlikely: View Large
26 SQ452: SQ (and i sat next to a guy who worked for SQ and talked to him and they always like to keep their options open - Atlanta is known to them but highly
27 AFROTC: i wouldnt mind seeing soutwest come to atlanta...cant think of any others
28 Tu154m: Aeroflot, along with open Visas between Russia and the US!!!!!!!!!(I know, I know......Iraqi Airways with Saddam flying the inaugrual in more likely!!
29 BR715-A1-30: AirTran and Delta would kick Southwest's butt. It would be the one battle Southwest WOULD lose. I can see Delta and AirTran teaming up for that one.
