Hello all at Airliners.net. I'm new and have a question for you guys. I had heard something a month or two ago on here about Korean Air obtaining a new identity somewhere in the near future. Does this mean new colors too? Any information is appreciated! Thanks!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

BTW, I already did a search for info on this and came up empty handed. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

I believe both Air China and Thai are shortly coming out with new colours, but I have not heard anything about Korean.

I don't think KE is going to get a new livery. They are upgrading its first and business class cabins to offer a more premium product. I think they will also do a lot of marketing and P.R. work.

Next flights: MEX-GRU (AM 77E), GRU-GIG (JJ A320), SDU-CGH (G3 73H), GRU-MEX (JJ A332).

As I heard Korean Air is only changing it's inside identy, so I guess we will not see any changes outside of the airplanes.

Anyway, it's just what I heard, until now no confirmation.

Anyway, as I really love the Korean Air livery I hope they will never change them.

Malaysia Airlines has already stated that to complement their new First Class Beds and new Golden Club cabins - due to roll out later this year - they will also be changing their inflight products from the meals served, its plates and glasses to their toiletries. A new lick of paint may also be overdue since this has been postponed once before....

I wonder if they will still go for the planned Eurowhite and navy blue streak (much like the new Gulf Air colours) with the Golden Malaysian star as their new logo... in fact it will probably look much like GF (!)

oh - sorry - i did hear somewhere too that KE was to get a new frock.

Landor is designing a new livery for Korean Air at the moment, and it will be unveiled in mid-2004.

Like Hoons90 mentioned, a new livery is in works for Korean Air.

The company will be having a top to bottom rebranding to make it more appealing and boost Skyteams Asia image.

Thanks for all your replies, I am excited to see what the new look for Korean Air is, if there is one. Hopefully there will be. As much as I love the one they have now, change can sometimes be good. Thanks again!  Smile
