So what is the IFE on TED? PTVS? I am flying them in June on the FLL-IAD leg of my flight to Rochester and was curious. Looks like I'll get to fly Independence Air as well to ROC on my date.

I've never flown United, Im a Continental Flyer... So it's Audio and regular inflight programming? How does united Plus work? Is that a higher fare or luck of the draw?

It's audio + video on drop-down LCD screens, similar to CO's B737NG... Economy Plus is for UGS members, elites and persons purchasing high-revenue tickets. If any seats are left over when you check-in, ask and you shall have.....

hey Njdevilsin03

I flew TED on an A320 from DEN-MSY a couple weeks ago. IndustrialPate, you're correct: the IFE was audio, and some stuff on TVs that dropped from the ceilings.

TED's video programming is different then mainline.

On TED you'll have more music videos and comedy... more of a laid back and youthful feel. Our mainline short subject videos are often more business oriented with a more serious tone (ie. Discovery Channel documentaries, etc). A lot of people who fly TED think UA should bring the video programming to mainline.

TED's audio selections are expanded compared with mainline. We offer local destination bands on one channel and other special audio selections.

The debate continues... Starwood or Hyatt... which is better

I will fly with Ted from LAX to LAS next week, in Economy Plus.
Can anyone tell me what can I expect? Are there any differences with United or Delta Economy Class? Thank you.

One of my flights between DEN and MCO had a movie. But then again, the safety video was not the new TED safety video. I like the new TED stuff better.
