It has been a few months since QF took delivery of their most recent A330 (VH-QPC, their 3rd 300-series and the 7th in the fleet)...

Anyone know when the remaining aircraft are due for delivery?

And what international routes the -200 series will be flying?

Well all further A333's will be skybed fitted (that is the reason for some of the delay)

I only know that QPD will be delayed until November (Due to the fact this aircraft is installed with the more powerful GE CF6-80E1A3 engines)

All current A330's are fitted with the GE CF680E1A2's

I do not know about QPE,QPF,QPG,QPH,QPI. However someone did say QPE will be delivered in June. Mentioned in previous threads.

My understanding is the first -300 International will arrive in July & start services to Hong Kong from Melbourne & Sydney. The A330-200's will not have sky beds installed as the forward cabin flooring cannot handle the weight! These 4 A332's will remain with the current domestic J/C config for the time being, however maybe used on 'short' international routes where QF can get away with a modified J/C cabin, ie. AKL, CHC & CGK! time will tell, but I understand it will cost QF up to aud4million to convert & strengthen the floor to handle the skybeds!

Cheers - BZF

Ansett Australia - (was) One of the worlds great airlines!

Can anyone confirm if these will be upgraded as the 330s transition to their new role?
