After all those threads about dirty AF planes this will put an end to it, a clean AF B747.

Haha, very true.

In fact, I believe AF has received enough criticism about their disgusting planes that they are moving to build a new aircraft cleaning facility. So, with the merger moving forward fairly rapidly I would imagine that with KL's facilities and then any new ones that AF creates, we might see some nice sparkling pearl white heavies zipping around.

Then again, this could just be wishful thinking.  Big thumbs up

Cheers!

Well said Dutchflyer.

At least a funny and intelligent thread about the merger. At least a positive point!

As for the second picture, I would gladly pitch something into a large collection plate for MK Airlines to re-paint their nasties!  Big thumbs up

Sometimes all you can do is look them in the eye and ask " how much did your mom drink when she was pregnant with you?"

I am still upset KLM is going bye-bye and it is AF that is gobbling them up, but AF is a prosperous, well run company that deserves as much respect as anyother airline. They are a great company that delivers an awesome product. I solute you AF! Oh and BTW, AF is not the only airline with that issue (i.e. dirty birds from northeast airlines).

After the merger with KLM, AF decided to put their plane washers to use before letting all of them go........ Unfortunately for AF, the washers caught on and quit before they were laid off. The bad part is that only one AF plane got washed.......LOL

When is this insipid topic of "dirty AF planes" got to an end?

Don't we have anything else (about AF) more positive to talk about?

Okay, how about, I'm glad they fly to IAH, giving us two choices (along with CO) when flying to CDG...

I don't think they are bashing Air France. It's all about the dirt. Some poor tomato plant is being denied
