Hello friends,
Exactly what is the size difference between a 777-200 and 777-300? I have never seen a 773 in person but the impression that I get is that it is HUGE, a lot bigger than a 772. What is your oppinion and how do you think the size compares to other models...A340-600 or 747-400?And, people that have flown in both the 772 and 773, which one did you like better and why?

I'm pretty sure that at the time of its role out, it was the world's longest airliner. Obviously with the advent of the A340-600 things have changed! But, the 773 combined with the new GE90-115Bs, whoa baby, one big mumma!!!

Not all that much difference.... takeoff feels slightly (VERY slightly) less powerful on the 773A as it tends to utilize the same engines as its smaller counterpart.
Will be interesting to feel the GE90s on the IGW though

A childish way to compare: Buy from HERPA 1:500 scale models, 772 and 773, and you will be amazed that even in such small scale, the size difference is huge!
