Cutting Up US Airways

I'm really worried for US Airways, but I want to discuss the scenario of them going under.

What airlines would hunt for what form them? You know that they will be cut up like a pizza.

My idea is that since JetBlue has shown interest in perhaps going international, that they can move their LGA operations (though not in existence yet) to the US Airwyas terminal, creaitng a mini-hub there for some of the routes that JFK has, and replace JFK's routes with international ones. Not to mention buying some of US Airways' A320s and probably their A330s would be a smart purchase as well.

What else would go down? Would this be Southwest's chance to try to start operations closer to NYC at LGA?

What do you think would happen?

I think UA would pick up some of their routes, primarily flights in and out of PHL. However, as bleak as it looks, let's not jump to conclusions. They're not gone yet!
