I do have some questions about Pan Am and its fleet of 707 and I hope someone around a.net might be able to answer them.
Maybe someone has some old PA timetables?

1) When did PA retire its last 707?
2) Which were the last transatlantic/transpacific routes operated with the
707 and, until when did PA use the 707 on international flights?
3) Which was the last route/flight operated with the 707?

Any information would be highly appreciated, and Thank You in advance.

Best regards,

L1011Lover

The 707's were still operated on services to Australia in the early 70's. On the A.net photo data base you will see one at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport.

707's complemented the 747's on Australian services. I miss Pan Am, although I was only 5 when they departed Australia!

If I am not mistaken, the first pan am 707-121 flight was in October 1958, from New york to paris.

Can't answer-- but didn't PA have all-cargo 707s back then? Maybe they were the last. Around 1979-80?

The last Pan Am flight by a 707 was in 1982 or 83, a charter flight from MSY to PHL I believe.

A link that lists all of Pan Am's 707s & their "in service" dates.

Hope it helps. Regards.
