The schedule is loaded in all major CRSs and can also be accessed on ATA.com. It's four RTs a day.
My expectation for loads? Poor, but I've been known to be wrong before. FWA offered $2.5 million in cash, waived fees, and the like in exchange for 12 months of service. Can't fault a company for following the money.
We'll all get to see how if goes in less than a month.

No, we're opening a station there with C8 employees. The manager going to FWA has been with C8 for awhile and is a good guy. The only cities where we are ground handled is by ATA at MDW and IND and in MKE our ramp ops are done by HP due to a weird airport authority regulation. We handle Skyway at DAY.

I just heard an interesting rumor coming from ATA Connection's training department in MDW. We sent a couple of new hires down from GRR for training in MDW and the came back with this interesting rumor. Apparently the training crew in MDW has been told by ATA that if the possibility for 100 seaters come into a reality that some of the larger ATA Connections should expect to see some of the new planes on expanded service. Just wondering if any other C8 employees heard this. Sounds like a realistic possibility to me but again it's all purely speculation and I will firmly believe it when I see it in the computers.

FWA is also going to be an interesting station as it will be the first city in which our Saabs will be loaded with a jet bridge. I'm sure that it will last or at least until the damage either the plane or the propeller with the jet bridge.

Do you think TZ will ever start main line service out of FWA? I know Ambassadair Travel had some flights out of there (usually to Florida and the Islands). I would like to see main line in there, try scheduled flights to LGA and Florida and go from there.

I'm curious why you think they will be poor. Any word on how the sales are so far?
I would much rather see a couple 100-seat flights rather than the frequency on the 34 seaters. I would think vacations would prefer the jet over schedule choices also since can plan that into the trip rather than worry about strict schedules for business meetings, etc.

I could totally see floating a 717 into a few higher yield cities like DAY and GRR. Having a 100 seat aircraft in the mix really could free this aircraft to move around the C8/TZ system. Who know though... We can only speculate!
And I am SURE FWA's loads will start really bad for the first 6 months or so. Nobody knows who this new airline is, and it takes time to build a new market.

If the rumour about the 100 seater is true, and even more so if it's a 717, GRR will become a pretty good airport, 717's, 732's, 733/735 (not sure which one UA brings in), 320's, CRJ, ERJ, FRJ, and B1900's. Will make their great spotting place even better.

I wouldn't suprise me if C8 did well in FWA, don't really know why.

It was a rumor about the 100 seaters...i know pilots at Chi Ex that still tell me they are thinking about the Saab 2000. I dought they will get either. They will stay the way they are for awhile. Suck their dropping the Cedar Rapids trips though, i always thought that brought a pretty good load?

So If TZ gets the 717 or the E190, how many TZ gates are now available at MDW? The Saabs can't park at the terminal ramp, so where will all the extra 100 seat a/c park? I wonder if there will be some a/c shuffling with some of the 738s and 75's placed on non MDW routes when/if TZ gets the 100 seat a/c....

Yep.....we do handle Skyway Airlines flights here in Dayton. It began that we would handle their flights here in Dayton and Skyway would handle our(C8) flights inot MKE. That didn't last long though and as Joe said HP does our handling in MKE now.
It would be interesting if we get larger aircraft here in DAY.....we would give AirTran a run for their money!!!

Two of SBN's round trips are guaranteed to operate to ferry aircraft to and from MX visits at our hangar there. Their loads usually are in the middle of the pack among cities with the same number of daily flights. SBN certainly is no slouch.
