Has anyone seen the UAX E170 yet? Now, THAT is one cool looking plane. Of course, it isn't UA proper, it is operated by Chataqua's subsidiary, Republic IIRC. Can't wait to see more planes in the new color scheme. Hope we see an E120 in it soon.

Which UX carrier is flying the DHC-8's. The last DHC-8's were operated by Westair ( ACA ) ending in the early 1990's.

There are a few Saab 340s in Shuttle America's fleet that have the same new color for UA's Express. If we get one in the next few days...I'll get a photo or two posted on here.

Per the UA-Mesa agreement, the current 15 CRJ-200s operating for UAX are supposed to leave UAX service on a one-for-one basis as each of 15 new CRJ-700s arrive. What a waste of paint--many of the CRJ-200s are freshly painted in the n/c and will only wear them for less than two years.

So the question becomes who paid for this fresh coat of paint...and does this mean we will see some crj-700's at rap this summer....we are now a majority Mesa operated station with Skywest employees....I always wonder why UA has skywest employees with a rotation of air wisky mesa and skywest aircraft....assume it is a contract thing....

The Dash 8-200s are operated by Mesa Airlines and feed the Denver hub.
Last I checked the following aircraft are operated for UAX.

We have painted 2 Mesa Dash-8's in a 'pre' New United colors scheme. At the time they where painted, UAL had not yet come up with a lay out print, so the aircraft was painted with only the basic colors. Blue and white only...No strips or tail logo.
The first 'new' color scheme UAL Express EMB-145 was delivered today and should be sitting in STL right now. It is the former Swiss International HB-JAJ. I have a few personal shots and I think it looks really good.

This was the first Dash-8 we did....the second, has the blue belly. Sorry, the rego slips my mind....
