All the world's an airport,
And all the men and women are merely aircraft:
They have their takeoffs and their landings;
and one man in his time has many flights.
His life being seven ages.At first being constructed;
still being many lifeless metal parts.
Then being wired,coming togeather;
into a huge complicated machine;
to be ready to work many hours.
Then the painting,
Becoming a beautiful craft;
lively and glossy,wearing an airline's livery.
Then the delivery;
Fin'lly on the tarmc,ready to fly;
New and modern,with the people staring;
At this new plane,carrying passengers;
and random cargo.
Then the career,
Flying day and night,through all the weather;
From one destination to another;
Full of young brats and flight attendants,
With weather and mechanical delays;
And no rest until maintanence.
Then the Problem,
With age showing,and flying harder;
fatiuged and full of problems;
Almost no longer fit to even fly;
Falling apart,turning into tin cans.
Then the airframe write-off,
Not worthy of flying anymore;
just a giant heap of scrap;
with the flying certificate removed;
sitting in fields,ne'er to fly again.
