In another thread, I had posted some screen shots from Flight Explorer and a lot of people were asking about it. I had filtered down to UA flights to/from DEN. I thought I would have a little more fun and post some more!

Click on the images to get the full screen version.

It's interesting to see where the airliners actually are, and how they are centred around thir hub's, especially NW.

Yeah, it changes over the course of the day... especially for banked hubs. You can really tell when they are in a push or a pull. It's kind of surreal when you do a time-lapse and see all the stuff moving in... then there's a pause... and then an explosion of stuff going out in all directions. Very cool!

I am using the same software and I trying to filter the flights departing and arriving in KSAT, but it only shows one or two flights. Since that was the main reason I singned up, I am sort of disappointed .

Any ideas why that is happening ?

Cheers

I'm sure this advanced type of flight tracker must have a price attached. How much does it set you back, InnocuousFox?

Don't use "KSAT" - use "SAT" (or do both). Only international flights will have the "K".

Not that I'm aware of. The feed that runs most of the flight trackers here in the states comes from a central computer network in our ATC system.

Hey GSPSSpot.....

Just FYI, fboweb.com is $15/month, and they have a lot of features to offer. I can get screenshots similar to those above, and many, many other things.... check it out sometime.
