2 LH A340s At DFW Today

While driving through DFW today, I noticed an LH A340 parked at the remote stand away from it's Terminal B gate (where UA usually overnight their jets). Then, about 2 minutes later, I noticed the anothe LH plane landing on 18R. Was there a maint. issue with the first one? Never seen two here at once.

I just looked on the homepage of Frankfurt Airport where I found this:

LH 0439 Dallas 08:10 verspätet (verspätet = delayed)

I guess a technical problem with the plane which arrived yesterday.

There have been two LH 340s at DFW before, I can remember two times but I've only lived here since July 2002. Once there was a diversion of a DEN flight due to snow and the other time was another mechanical problem.

Oh shweet why couldn't they have had the delay this past Sunday when I was out there? Where'd they get the extra plane to send over the pond just for the little old AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA-DFW flight? Either way I'd love to be out there to check it out.

IAH was/is having WX diversions today ... So one could be FRAIAH .... via DFW

You're right but evidently the LH flight and the KL flights to Houston were both diverted to San Antonio (SAT) today. I'm not positive about this but someone else posted it.
