Hi!

If I get really lucky I will get to go on an excursion to Antarctica next Spring and I was wondering what would be the best way to get from DUS to USH.
Since I have never been to South America I am not very familiar with the local airlines or the conditions at USH. Is it really windy there year round?

Thanks!

What about DUS-MAD-EZE-USH?

EZE - USH ( with 1 stopover i think ) is operated by Aerolineas Argentinas with B737 - flight time total about 5hrs.

regards, Florian

Yeah I was looking at that, too.
I was mainly wodering about the EZE-USH segment.

It appears to be served by an MD-80 now, though.

Yes, the A310 is no longer operated so the operation it is being based on the MD80. The benefit is that you have direct connection at Ezeiza airport after arriving from Europe without the need to transfer to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery in this case.

You can check many pictures of the airport on this site. It has jetways which were included to relief the passengers especially in the winter.

If not the best maybe is to take our Condor (Aerolineas Argentinas)

Last Summer many B747s were programmed for passengers taking cruises.
