Hello!

I've heard rumours before that Hawaiian Air would
be flying into YVR. Has anybody heard the same thing?
Also, the exact number of people to pass through
YVR in 1998 was 15.51 million people.

hi richard,

i have and currently travel that market extensively and i cannot say i have heard that rumour. unless hawaiian has excess capacity and equipmrnt idle, they may want too test the market by putting in a dc-10 but i think it would be remote. canadian as sure you know controls the market with air canada and canada 3000 tied for second.

hawaiian would need a canadian distribution system lined up to sell and market the service and their frequent flyer program would be of little interest here in canada.

i will bet against it.

Initaly 757 would fit in perfectly on this route. Or at least that is my opinion.

hawaiian does not have any 757's

too costly for a new route... the big picture, not the small.

I know they don't but that would be a good airplane to lease in(Not Buy) to explore smaller markets to the mainland with. Most people like going direct. Not through a hub
