Hey,

Just informing everyone that Air Transat's last L-1011 flight departing Toronto for Holguin Cuba is on Saturday. Scheduled departure time is 11:30 AM. This is surely gonna be sad, no more Tristars into Toronto. As for the last L-1011 flight, I believe it will depart Montreal Mirabel for Cayo Coco Cuba on the 22nd in the night.

Best Regards,

BWIA330

Hey,

yeah it does suck alot. The tristar is going to be missed. My source is the air transat flight schedules on their website.

Well, I should try to catch her for the last time ... hopefully she'll be substituting a lot in the summer time for broken Airbuses.  Big grin

A very sad day for trijet fans like me.

Sad news indeed. The highlight of my many trips to EGCC was seeing the Air Transat L10's arrive and depart. Stunning aircraft, its just a shame that they are no longer economic. I'm destined never to fly on one of these birds  Crying

Wow.. yet another sad day for YYZ'ers. First the shut-down of T1-Old, and now the spirited removal of my favourite airliner.

C-FTNG will forever be in my memory, as my ride home from PVR to YYZ in 2000. My first (and apparently only) ride on a 1011 was memorable -- a cargo door that refused to close  Smile

It was very memorable  Smile

LONG LIVE the L-1011!

(I'll be there tomorrow. Look for the guy sobbing uncontrollably  Smile ) hahahaha

Pack your bags, we're going on a sympathy trip!

Yes, I think there will be a large group of people sobbing tomorrow. lol. I'm sure we'll see her fly in the summer time off and on though, but it will be much harder to catch since it wont be scheduled regularly.

Hey guys,

this indeed is a very sad day in Tristar history, but at least we have ATA flying scheduled services with them from time to time. I will miss seeing these TS beauties.....Long Live the Tristar!! Smile Smile

Never tell your girlfriend about all the 'action' you're getting at the airport - only photogs understand that.
