KM ? I don't thinks so - Air Malta don't have any 747s.

I didn't think anyone operated passenger aircraft with maindeck cargo any more, owing to fire risk etc.

Asiana Airlines, Korean Air (only one), Lufthansa (although they are operating in all-PAX config), and maybe some other airlines..

Air-India operates 74D from BOM-DEL-NRT.
PIA operates 747-200 Combis from Pakistan to Europe.
I think SA amd SV operate's 74M's and 747-200's Combi as well.

The 747-300 Combis are actually seen on FRA/BKK/NRT routes. The DEL-NRT flight is increasingly becoming a 747-200 instead due to heavy passenger loads.

KLM does.
At least they did 3-4 years ago.

I flew to EZE with them and they had 747 Combo with Cargo in the back and Passengers in the front..

AC was planning to withdraw its "74Es" (AC's official timetable designation for 744 Combis) this fall but might keep one a while longer....

Some of KLM's 744s (not sure how many) are the combi format. Another airline that has not been mentioned is Air Namibia. They have had a 744-Combi on and off for a while now...more on than off. Also, what about Martinair Holland?

AC is currently operating them on the routes YYZ-AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA (7/7), YUL-AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA (7/7) and YYZ-LHR (4/7). From July on or so they will put two of them on YYZ-AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA instead of YUL-AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA. Let's see what happens in the fall, as AC announced that they will leave the fleet. But AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA has a big Cargo volume so it will be interesting to see what they will come up with.

On December 2003 I went to see my new Passat 4 motion coming out of a LH 747M at MEX. At that time LH and KLM were up loading some Beattles from Mexico to Europe. I'm sure they were not cargo planes because they were at the jetways over the International Terminal not at the cargo complex.

What about now, do they still fly the Combies to MEX?

I just checked the AI webpage, and one of the three flights AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA-DEL is assigned as JET, the other as 74D. Airwise.com says 742. Does that mean that the AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA-DEL sector experiences more often an equipment change due to high pax load from 74D to 742?

Yes AF still has 742's, not sure if any are Combis though.

Don't KU have a 744M?

18? I think of KLM's 23? 744's are Combi's?

Call me crazy but didn't AF operate some 744 combis? Can't exactly remember but I think I remember a Herpa Wings model that was an AF 744 Combi. Anyways, if I am wrong, I'm sorry for misinforming you. Good luck on your project!

Yes AF did operate a few 744 Combis, these aircraft were converted to full pax configuration though in the mid 90's!

It must have been an all pax or all cargo plane since all former combi 744s operated by LH (D-ABTA thru D-ABTH) had already been converted to all-pax versions at that time.

Air France DOESN'T operate anymore B747-Combi. ALL the -Combi have been converted into ALL PAX aircraft (or ALL Cargo a/c for the B742) about 3 or 4 years ago.

In the past, AF operated B742-Combi (mostly on it African routes) and B744-Combi.

The B744 ex-Combi are :
F-GISA/B/C/D/E and F-GEXB (ex-UTA a/c).

AF still operates 4 B747-300 (2 of them are ex-UTA Combi aircraft) and 4 B742.
Both the -200 and -300 are scheduled to leave the fleet by end 2005/ spring 2006
