A few days ago I posted about how my flights JFK-NCE and LGW-ATL on DL 763s had changed seating layouts. This is for July. I am gold medallion so I can book exit rows in advance. originally the flights had rows 20 & 21 as the exit rows. Seatguru said that 20 did not recline and 21 had normal recline. I had booked 21A on both. Now, on these new flights the ONLY exit row is row 20. And from the map on Delta.com it is not in the same position over the wing as the previous flights. My question is, has anyone been on this layout with Delta? I booked the tow 20 exit row for the extra room since I am a full framed 6'3"+ individual. I just dont want to get on the plane and find out the seats dont recline or something. Thanks!

I don't have a lot of info for you, but here is what is going on. The last couple of rows of Business are being removed and replaced with more economy seats. These seats are right around the mid galley area and are (were) actually the best seat to non-rev on. I'm not sure if the existing economy rows are being moved around also. I'll look around for more info tonight and if I find anything, I'll post it.
LGW in July? I'll be returning through LGW, maybe we'll run into each other!

The seatmap shows the config for the ex-GF/OZ 763ERs (ships 1501-1506 and ship 1521) which only have one overwing exit. All the other DL 763ERs still have two exit rows (rows 20 and 21) in Y. They're being 'safe' right now in only displaying the GF/OZ 763ERs because these only have 30 BizElite seats as opposed to the 36 on the regular/majority 763ERs (and they don't want to mislead BizElite passengers that row 6 may be there when in fact it won't be should the GF/OZ a/c be used). They usually can't definitely confirm which type of 763ER would be used until the day before or the day of departure. Hope this helps.
