Well,

the Aviation year 2004 didn't started that well!
It began with Flash Airlines (737-3Q8, SU-ZCF) on the 3th of January. 103 people got killed, mostly French!

On the 10th of February a Kish Air Fokker F-50 (EP-LCA) crashed near Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Further we had smaller incidents, like over run runway etc.

But my question: DO we already know what happened with those 2 flights?
The cause....?

And does anyone has of list of ALL! major, like ment above, and smaller accidents this year (maybe with causes also?)? From the plane with engine trouble in Munich (Austrian F-70) till the minor accident in Aberdeen this week (with the nosewheel)

I know, I'm asking you a lot, but come on  Big thumbs up

Thanks, FJWH

Try
http://aviation-safety.net/index.shtml
Look under accident reports and they have links to the reporting agency in some countries.

Okie

Last thing I heard in the Kish Air is that it was an uncommanded propeller reversal but as to what made it happen is yet to be solved. Causes usually take a year before conclusive evidence is found and verified. You can't hurry an investigation but you sure can slow one down.
