According to a Bulgarian online daily ("Dnevnik"), BA launches its new uniforms outside of the UK. The first outpost to use the new uniforms is nothing less than Bulgaria itself  Smile/happy/getting dizzy . The occasion seems to be celebration of 10 years of resumed BA service to Bulgaria (I believe it was terminated in the mid-80s but not sure). BA organized a fashion show exhibiting all of its uniforms since 1954! BA is apparently sponsoring a double decker to go around the Bulgarian capital. I guess BA must be doing very well in Bulgaria with all of those festivities taking place. A couple of years ago, BA chipped in several millions pounds to buy a LHR slot from Balkan to fly to Bulgaria. It must be paying off.

Regards,
VS11

To be honest that new uniform looks like it was designed for Balkan airways or Aeroflot. Are they expecting a communist revolution in the UK?

Maybe they see the new eastern European states as a strong market for the future and this uniform was designd to appeal directly to them.

This new uniform looks East not West.

Funny comment but offensive. What makes a uniform looks East European or West European?

Besides, there are no more communist countries in Europe. Get a reality check.
