ScottysAir:
I am sorry I am getting late, but from my position, quite far from Venezuela, I am not always that up to date with things incoming there.
Personally, it is a great pleasure to see an other Venezuelan company linking Caracas and Miami, together with Aeropostal. We are still quite fond of Viasa..Seeing an other bird of us is just pretty!
I hope to see 757-200 photos very soon!

Hello all!

This is great news! As a Venezuelan, I'm happy to see a national carrier being succesful and expanding internationally.

I assume this will be leased A/C. Any info as to who they're leasing them from? wet/dry lease? age of A/C?

Thanks

Well, is that make getting longer lines at immgirations in MIA? It should need to make more space for them.

Awesome news, just as expected. They also may inagurate Miami-Maracaibo service later in the future.

The flights, I believe, will be operated by TransMeridian.

I might be wrong, but I think that some years back, when re-started its US operations, Aeropostal leased its A320 from Transmeridian..

About Santa Barbara, I believe that they still maintain their rights upon the routes from Fort Lauderdale towards Caracas and Maracaibo. In fact, they never operate the route, but this does not mean anything for the future.
Santa Barbara concentrates itself on its flies linking South America and Spain with good prices: it flies from Lima and Quito towards Madrid through Caracas. Soon it will even fly to Guayaquil.
It goes slowly, but grows. You know, as things in Venezuela are not so sure, is not so easy to risk!
