Yet Again...Midwest Diversions 5/22/04

We all know the drill now. Temps are expected to be around 90 today along I-80/90 with the warm front heading north again. With any luck CLE, TOL, and south will be spared today (unlike yesterday). One dying MCS moving over Lake Michigan now should setup a nice outflow boundary on the otherside - unless it finds a way to build back up. If it increases in strength and holds together, it should be near DTW in about 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Another one on its heels should be messing up ORD again in a couple hours.

Get the cameras ready...again. Smile Depending on where the storms line up will determine who gets what. If all works out right...TOL could stay clear and offer a good day to get some picks. The Saturday afternoon cargo push starts around noon to 2 (Polar 744F, handful of ATI DC-8s, and some CCI 727s)...would be nice to throw a few other birds in the mix. Smile

Yeah I really need a new job. I cant deal with this shit in ORD anymore. For the last 2 weeks I have dealt with the same thing day in and day out. Its really starting to take a toll on the Agents dealing with this everyday. I realize there is nothing that can be done....but it just gets old. Since 2 saturdays ago...I have not worked an on-time departure from my station. How sad is that?

AA777-200, while I live about 2 hours due west of Chicago, I feel for you. Non-stop storms, mostly severe for the past 2 weeks, everynight. Day in day out. And it's still coming...

" Seriously though, ORD sucks. We'd have guys calling in sick after day upon day of forced OT. That's one reason I am trying to avoid ORD if and when I get an A&P job. ORD can't handle a cloud in the sky.

It looks like it's heading south today kids, maybe you'll get a break. STL just had two UPS 747s divert on their way to LOU. I would guess that it was from flying around the storms up north as we didn't have any here and the weather is clear down south.
