Finnair still flies to Hong Kong right?

Any chance that SAS, Alitalia, Lauda etc will return to HKG???? They left us for a while......

OS made a statement that they are planning to extent their China services by a third destination and are thinking about either CAN or HKG. As more B763 are reintegrated into their fleet (joint ops OS/NG) there are chances that they will return....

SAS stopped their HK service in the end of 1998 or start of 1999 because they could not earn enough money out of it, so it has nothing to to with Shanghai. After the companies turnaround they are considering new options, HK is one of them. As the CEO sayed in a interview, we want more longhauls route, but we want to be sure it is economic before we start a new one. Before we give a route one or two years to prove if is was running well. The situation now is that we can not do that anymore. Sad but clewer words.
