Is Mayor Hahn's proposed central terminal building concept financially feasible?

If it was approved, how long would the entire process take? I personally think that remodeling the terminals owned by the city is a better route.

I understand that the Master Plan has morphed quite a bit since 9/11 in order to take into consideration new security features, etc.
The Central Terminal concept in interesting, though I'm still confused about the whole idea of "filling in" the area currenlty occupied by the parking garages and creating a remote pick up/drop off location where passengers would be bused to the new Central Terminal area. Where is this remote area goingto be located?

AirplaneBoy: The best site for you to get all the information about the masterplan is http://www.laxmasterplan.org, it has all the information and a pretty cool video as well. Realistically, it looks like parts of the plan will be delayed for more study while other portions will be adopted. There was a great article today about a compromise possibly being reached. http://www.dailybreeze.com/content/news/2680911.html
