On the 25th, I arrived in Halifax on CanJet's afternoon flight. To my suprise there was an Atlas 742 I believe parked! I was in awe. Firstly a 747 of any sort at Halifax and a cargo plane too! Does anyone know if Atlas does this regularly? and where from?

As of this past Sunday Polar is running 6 flights a week picking up live lobster and silver hake fish besides Polar, Icelandair runs a 757F on Sunday morning picking up lobster and I know MK used to go in there with a 742F picking up silver hake bound for Spain, forget wich city in Spain. Don't know if MK is still going in there. As far as Polar they run into Amsterdam and Liege. And Icelandair runs all over Scandinavia and Liege

When I saw a 747 on approach to YHZ last December, I thought of an emergency landing or an unruly passenger that had to be unloaded; I soon found out that Polar Cargo was shipping seafood to Europe out of Halifax.
The engine is the heart of an airplane, but the pilot is its soul.
