I was wondering if anyone knew when UA will start their ORD PUJ route, and what aircraft they will use?

They are still waiting for government approval no aircraft has been decided on yet, more then likely will operate the 320.

All the recently announced new Mexico and Caribbean flights on UA won't start until December for the winter travel season and are subject to gov't approval, etc.

They didn't mention equipment in their press release, but probably under-utilized Airbuses for weekend-only service. You may see some 757s and 733s mixed in for the daily flights.

UA hasn't flown a 737 south of the border in many years and does not plan to. It will either be a A320 or a 757 for the weekends.
