Last year I went down to JFK to get some photos of the plane and got a lot of them to of them where submitted

True - a sad day. Miss seeing it fly over my house every morning after takeoff from LHR. Could almost set your watches by it.
Even remember the twice a day experience!
I remember, was at work, interviewing someone from up north who had never seen it or heard it before. During the interview, Concorde flew over, and her face just dropped. At one point, I thought she was gonna take cover under the desk.
Is weird - when you get used to something, you don't always appreciate it. That is, until it is gone.

The great white lightning!
Never heard that one before - I like it

I believe my typical signature is the most appropriate close for this topic: Faire du ciel le plus bel endroit de la terre c'est impossible sans Concorde!

Dear AlitaliaMD11
I know how you feel, I remember seeing the Concorde takeoff all the time when I worked over at T1. People would stop what they were doing to wacth it takeoff it was as though people were going to wacth the king bath.
It was good while it lasted thanks for the memories.
Airplanes are only as good as the people who fly&fix them.
