Iowaman,Virgin and JAL bring 744's in 2 or 3 times a week. Phillipine brings an A340 in daily from YVR. Delta also brings 767-300's in,too!

About 11:30 today there was a UA 747 and a OmniAir DC-10 that took off from LAS today. Where were they going?

Figures,I flew out of LAS on a United 757 yesterday....The Omni DC-10's fly to Hawaii. No more UA 757's in LAS as of June 3rd. Then it will go all Ted. I remember not too long ago seeing UA DC-10's at the gate  Sad

Was that just a upgrade to a 747 on UA to ORD?

I believe Delta --currently-- is the only US major airline to fly wide-body jets in/out of LAS.

I would have liked to see the B747 of UA at Las. I would fly from LAX to LAS just to see that wonderful plane. I never see them at lax anymore. They have just a few 744's in service now. I was lucky enought to fly 2 UA 747's and I had a GREAT time on each. I am going on a 744 but not on UA. Long live the 747 for UA.
