I was at IAD on May 11th and there was a Virgin A340 sitting in one of the non-movement areas. I was wondering if anyone had any info on this plane like registration and an idea why it was there. It was there for at least 4 days because someone I know saw it there a few days later. Thanks for the help.

I believe that it was G-VMEG.
That a/c had been having a recurring landing gear indication problem that could not be resolved at IAD. Last I heard was that the a/c was going to be ferried to an airport in Canada, so Air Canada could perform a gear swing to try and rectify the problem.
Not heard what happend to it since then though.
