Does anyone have any pics of the EVA AIR aircraft that raised its landing gear while on the ground in LHR recently? I heard that aircraft will be out of service for many months to come.Does anyone have pictures or info? THANKS!

There was a post on it when it first happened. There were links to pix too. It wasn't pretty. I wouldnt say many months but I'll bet on 8-12 weeks. That MD-11 that did a butt plant at LAX is what I think will take a while. It crushed that belt like it was nothing at all. Back to the ?, I heard that the safty pin that kept the gear in place came loose and the gear retraceted but that it fell on the APU on the tarmac putting a good hole in the side. That's all I know, but do a search and I bet you'll find something.
