They will soon add 3 additional weekly flights.

From what I read, it will eventually go TRIPLE DAILY. But when?

That's what we are trying to tell you ... the information above is the only schedule published at the moment. There is even no information on ba.com so I don't know who can give you the information you need.

Wow!!

I think sooner or later there will be 10 fights to choose from (daily) from HKG-LHR

CX =3
BA =3
VS = 2??
QF =1-2??

It must be one of the busiest route in the world (except the transatlantic JFK-LHR)

Heard that Dragonair wants HKG-LHR as well.

Add NZ to the list as well.

This is interesting. Thrice daily for two cities so far away represents very substantial capacity. HKG and SIN have always emerged as asia's 2 premier hubs (despite KL's attempts to win traffic away from SIN) and BA/QF have a huge presence in these 2 ports. I would say that over time, HKG will be able to draw traffic away from SIN and other hubs from kangaroo-route traffic as Virgin enters the market.

Long Haul is the only way to go

Yes, lots of flights. So this Sunday there will be a total of 7 direct flights heading for LHR, 3 x BA, 3 x CX and 1 x VS.
