Hey everyone,

I was going through my usual routine of websites that I visit when I'm behind my computer. And when I came to Schiphol.nl, I went to the webcam section.

So I was looking at all 4 cams, and 1 of them was frozen and showed an image of 11:37AM this morning. And to my suprise I could see an Air Canada 767 standing at one of the gates.

I've never seen or heard of an AC aircraft at AMS. Why was it there? Is this a sceduled flight?

Thanks,
Kas

AC serves AMS seasonally. For the summer season, they started on June 1. As of June 20, the flights will go daily YYZ-AMS on 767-300s.

Next flights: YQM-YYZ-YOW v.v. / YQM-CUN v.v. / YQM-YUL-YWG v.v. / YSJ-YYZ-SEA-SFO / SFO-YYZ-YOW-YQM / YQM-YYZ-MUC-TXL /

Brink777,

Go to http://www.schiphol.nl Click the first of 4 boxes called "Luchthaveninformatie"
Than on the left side, you can see several options to choose from. Choose "Winkelen & entertainment". On the page that will load one of the options you want to choose is: "Nieuwe webcams, nieuw uitzicht!" .Press "lees verder" ....and your there  Smile

Have fun,

FJWH

AC has been serving AMS seasonally for the last 3 years. The seasons however seem to be getting shorter.

In 2002 AC892 operated between April and October
In 2003 AC892 operated between May and October
&
In 2004 AC892 operates between June and Mid-October

The flight operated with J/Y for the first two years, but given the high demand for leisure travel, and modest at best J/Class bookings, the 767-300 operates with a configuration of S36/190Y. The forward cabin, is sold as "Super Comfort", offering the domestic J/C seating. Seats in this cabin are generally reserved for full 'Y' or higher Y/C revenue tickets, as well as Aeroplan/Star Alliance Elite/Gold members.
