I have been looking for a arrivals/departure schedule for StMarteen but i cannot find one! I am trying to find out what days get the biggest traffic, eg 747's/340's/etc!
Can anyone help???
Maybe even give me some specific times and such!
Cheers guys!

Definitely busiest in the afternoon, with the daily AF A340 scheduled to land around 3 pm (at least when I was there in Feb.). I don't think the KLM 747 is daily, but when it does arrive I believe it's later in the day. Of course there are little prop planes going to SBH, SJU, etc. all day long, but most of the North American traffic (757s and such) arrives and departs during the afternoon.
FYI, the guy who cooks burgers at the back of the little beach bar has a scanner on, so you can listen to ATC and be prepared when one of the "big ones" is approaching.

Yes, I saw the DCA MD-80 when I was there, as well as a Skyservice 757. There are also lots of bizjets, in addition to the usual variety of Caravans, Twin Otters, Dash 8s, etc.
If you get bored at SXM, you can check out the little airport up at Grand Case, on the French side of the island. Not as many movements, but you can see Air Caraibes ATRs flying to/from Guadeloupe. They fly low over the many excellent restaurants in the town of Grand Case, so you can watch planes while enjoying a cold lobster salad and a glass of white wine. Very civilized.
