New MEA Videos Of A330 And A321!

I introduced this in another thread however it deserves its own!

On the MEA Deutschland (Germany) website there are two videos: one for the A330 and one for the A321. Both videos are very well done, they display images and clips of both aircraft in action as well as interior clips.

Just at a quick glance you can see that the German website is updated far more than the mainstream English site, I wonder why that is?

If anyone needs translation of the words on the website just let me know. In any case, enjoy!

yalatif....i didn't know MEA was capable of this stuff. i thought maximum they can make a simple html webpage with a scroll down list, so i am very impressed.

although in the A321 video i think i saw a sight of F-OHMO.

Anyway, i'm putting these in my favourites.

thanks for the word MEA321

Now this has nothing to do with the topic,I searched for OD720's "Thomas Cook to BEY" thread, but could no longer reply. The news is that yesterday I was in the downtown area and I spotted a Thomas Cook office,it's located in the Banks' Street facing subway.Could this confirm that Thomas Cook might be coming to Beirut soon?!
Crap I've been waiting for 15mins for the MEA video to load, nothing yet!

Does anyone know if these videos have been used for TV commercials as well? And, are there any web sites featuring MEA TV commercials?

MEA310,

I'm surprised it's taking you this long to download the movie clips. It actually took me less than 20 seconds to download each of them! My connection is ADSL, though. Good luck!

MEA310,

I asked further about the Thomas Cook flights, there will be no service to BEY this summer but they are establishing themselves here.

As for downloads, we don't have DSL in Beirut yet so some downloads may take some time, specially on cable connections like MEA310 has.

Best regards.

Okay, I just checked the videos. You have to have QuickTime to be able to view it or else you will get that "nothing happens"  Smile

These MEA videos were done by Airbus company before the delivery of the aircrafts to MEA.

I have the A321 whole movie on CD (20 min), as well as another CD done by MEA company to advertise for tourism in Lebanon.

If anybody wants to see them, ... just e-mail me.

Thomas Cook has just opened an office in Beirut. yes this is true. They intend to have a regional office for the Middle East in Beirut.

I sawan article stating how Thomas Cook operated in Beirut for 31 years (from 1953 to 1984).

But there was no mention of operatinf flights at this point. They will sell packages to and from Lebanon. Thats all

I dont believe that the e-mail for Mr. El-Hout is available on the net, in fact it might only be available through business card and/or personal contacts.

If you would like e-mail addresses for senior managers at different departments I could provide you with some, email me if you have any interest.

Solnabo,
Tack så mycket

Im getting word that the flight from BEY today at CPH was full completely both ways! This is definitely good news for MEA and for Lebanon.

There were many Danish and Swedish passengers on the flight which indicates that the tourism in Lebanon is definitely getting off to a good start.

I am still trying to obtain photos of the A330 at CPH before they switch over to the A321 next month.

Thanks AF022 and MEA321. I'll try the AACO web site first and see how it goes... Actually I would like to complain about MEA's web site which, in my opinion, needs a lot of work and improvement. The current site doesn't really do justice at all to a world-class airline like MEA. I hope all of you who share my concerns do the same thing...

Those are absolutely great. Thanks for sharing them.

I wish they had a preview of the new Economy Class as well and not just Cedar Class.

Oh well....

They shouldn't have shown F-OHMQ either.

Regards
