Title says it all, one of the local news stations sent a crew down to do an interest piece about Kachamak Air Service. It aired last night
I know most of you have never heard of them, but they are a small 135 operator out of Homer Alaska.
They used to run a Dehavlland Otter on floats nicknamed Big Red. In the 1990's they sold it and upgraded to another aircraft, which was the feature of that story. A 1929 Travel Air 6000B.
The aircraft is available to charter and is restored with original mahogany wood interior and wicker seats.
The local station KTUU didn't have a copy of the video on their website, just a text version of the story.
