Noticed this the other day on BA's website that 1 of the three afternoon/evening flights was a 744. Just curious if this is just for summer demand, or is this a permenant change with more 744's to be scheduled out of ORD?

I have ridden BA 744s between ORD and LHR in November/December.

Im almost 100% positive its seasonal.....they do on occasion bring one in during the winter months for holidays but mostly its the 777 during the summer and a mix of 777/744 during the summer.

I flew return LHR - ORD in May this year. 2 of the daily flights were 772s and 1 was a 744. We went out on the 744 and returned on the later 772 flight. The 744 was full, by the way.
