I just visited an AA 767 plane today, and i was rather astonished about their cabin interior....

first of all the business class seat looks so cheap and flimsy, incomparable with any other international business seat i have ever seen ! do they have accordingly low fares in C to get passengers on board ????

second, the whole cabin looks terribly old and f... down, the interior is very dark and looks unfriendly and not very reliable to me...

i think what i saw wa a very old plane, as in another topic i just saw that they are refurbishing the old 767 with a new interior ?!?

are the 777 of better quality ????

All the 767's I have been in with American have been very nice. Maybe you saw one that was going to be gutted and refurnished.

Where did you get to see this 767?

When you say the the interior looks "and not very reliable to me..." just wondering, how does the look of the interior make the plane anymore reliable?

well i would say all you can see is the interior to judge if an airline looks kind of reliable or not.. and i think you agree, that a clean, modern and pleasing cabin gives you a better feeling throughout the flight instead of an old and lousy one ?! thats why i was so surprised, as i regard AA to be a very reliable airline....
nevertheless, i was totally fascinated of one of the F/As, she was like the ultimate dream stewardess... tall, slim, blonde in her late 40ies i would guess, in this old fashioned but still totally trendy one piece skirt... absolutely great  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
