AirTran 737s Ugly On Outside But Inside.....!

As an AirTran flight attendant, I will agree that the new paint scheme is not that pretty to look at. We are all hoping that they realize the mistake they have made and change it before painting all of our new planes!!

But........................I just saw some pictures of the interior, and let me be the first to tell you that the inside of the plane DEFINATELY makes up for the outside! The inside of our new 737s is VERY nice and the whole cabin has a nice fresh look with beautiful seats. Our business class seats will now be leather and our main cabin seats are extremely ergodynamic (sp), and look very comfortable. The whole cabin just looked amazing! So why we might be lacking in the paint scheme department, I assure you we will be making it up in the inside of the plane!

Come fly our new planes. Go! There's nothing stopping you.

The new 737s sounds like they'll be a pleasure to fly on. Weren't the new seats designed by Recaro? Hope to fly on one soon.

I have two shots of the new scheme in the database, and in my comments, I remarked how much I liked it.

Then the other day, I recieved flame mail from someone who claims to work at AirTran. Told me I need glasses among other things.

Oh and SWALUVFA, there IS something stopping everyone. The new 737's have not been delivered yet!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I hate this slogan. Truth be told, there is a lot stopping or at least slowing me down.... Lack of Extra Cash just laying around, School, Work, etc, etc. I perfer, "Fly in fear, fly Frontier"... oops I forgot, a spotter buddy of mine made that up... (LOL FutureFO)!

While I haven't seen one close up, I did see one of FL's new 737's flying into BFI today. I thought the paint scheme looked fine.

It doesn't look so bad, but it could be a bit more 'modern'

The only thing about this C/S I don't like is the blue engines. They just clash with the teal tail, and they look too much like ValuJet.

I love the slightly new exterior look, in fact I have it as my wallpaper and screensaver now! I know they put a lot of thought into the interior and I have heard that the entire cabin seating (not just Biz class) is in leather and that the aft galley was removed for better seating. I look forward to seeing the new Boeings inside and out!!

Well I actually HAVE worked for all three of those airlines!  Smile I left Southwest because I wanted to fly internationally so I went to World. I loved World but moved to Atlanta and did not want to commute to my base in SEA. I also missed working for a scheduled service airline so I came here to AirTran! I love our airline and the direction that it is taking, and am very proud to be apart of our growth! But I have not updated my user name "swaluvfa" or my profile that says World Airways! LOL

Travatl- Hey there! There were some shots of the interior at the shareholders meeting. Some of the guys in flight OPS have a few of them, and let me tell you we are going to LOVE working on it! By the way, your friend was a shining star in the last F/A initial class!  Smile

The biggest thing stopping me is that they don't fly to CAE.  Smile

Other than that, I am sure the interiors are amazing, but I am also with you on that I hope they do something about that disgraceful new livery.

28 TrnsWrld : the paint job looks ooook not the best I have seen. I think the main mistake they made that is throwing it off is that they painted the entire engine
