Yeah I saw the commercial for this a few days ago. Hosted by the man who owns his own 707, John Travolta. Big thumbs up Thanks for the reminder Nicedream!

Did anybody else watch this? I stayed-up for it and I was slightly disappointed. I wanted to know more about the development of the aircraft itself, not so much about the barges and trucks taking the parts to Toulouse from England, Germany, and Spain. I have to say though that the whole operation is impressive. They stated that the Toulouse plant will churn-out one A380 per week when the production line will be at full speed....that still seems like an awfully fast clip.

There were also many "closed captioning" mistakes...ie, what was said did not match with the closed captioning at the bottom of the screen. At one point, somebody at Airbus mentioned something about Boeing being weary of them and the closed captioning read, "We at Boeing should be weary." Don't you just love typos!?  Big grin

I agree with you Cha747, a friend of mine here at work at ATA and I were saying the same thing.
