OMG there were sooo many. I have two timetables, but they're at my other house.

Initial 1983 routes were: ATL-TPA, and ATL-MCO.

But others: (keep in mind that there were A LOT!)
PHL-SFO
ATL-LAX
ATL-SFO
EWR-ATL
EWR-MCI
EWR-CLT
EWR-MIA
EWR-FLL

Those that came to the top of my head. Most of these birds have flocked to other carriers.

Eastern flew the 757 to Denver Stapleton right up until they went under. I think the 757s were from ATL.

I can remember flying on Eastern's B757 from DTW to ATL. This is at a time when the 757s first became available.

They pretty much flew every where from theit ATL and MIA hubs: LAX, SFO, LGA, BOS, DCA, SJU, IAH, PHX. There were also some oddball routings like ATL-ONT-SAN and ATL-PHX-TUS

Right, soooo many. Here are some of the cities I recall:

ATL, MIA, FLL, PBI, MCO, TPA, IAH, MCI, ELP, ABQ, PHX, TUS, SAN, ONT, SNA, LAX, SFO, SJC, PDX, SEA, LAS, RNO?, ORD, DCA, PHL, EWR, LGA, JFK, BOS, SJU, STT, STX, SXM, SJO, much of South America as well. I'm sure I'm missing a bunch (my logbooks are buried in the basement somewhere).

I don't think the EA's 75's had IFE did they? And there were some long halls on those...  Big grin

No, there was no traditional video IFE on EA's 757s. Then again, IFE wasn't usually found on any narrowbody equipment until HP's put it on their 75s.

EA also operated 757s on routes with short tags to/from hubsites, such as LAS-PHX-ATL and TUS-PHX-ATL.

Yeah, that's true because DL didn't even install IFE on their 757's until the early '90's. I don't think they fully realized the potential of the 757 until later.  Big grin

Flew on a 1 stop direct EA 757 on July 2, 1986; EWR-MCI-LAX and had quite a hard landing at LAX as I recall! Was my first 757 flight, though and it was great...

Back in Feb 87 I flew BOS-LAX which used 757s each way. This was the only time I had flown with EA.

I've seen one in Nassau before, but I was flying a TWA 727 and I'm not sure where the 757 was off to. Probably ATL.

As a side note, as we were boarding our 727 to STL, a TWA L1011 pulled up. Do you suppose it was bound for JFK?
Also, the 727 took a short hop to Freeport before heading on to STL. Talk about a short runway. We were backed all the way to the end, he held the brakes and gave it the juice. The pilot probably thought nothing of it, but we held our breath.

EA 757s were used quite extensively in the Caribbean as well. I'd flown into SJU and STT on them many times. Most notably was a STT-STX-MIA flight - the takeoff from STT was just amazing!  Big thumbs up

To get an idea of where Eastern flew it's 757s use the amazing A-net photo database, just select Eastern and 757 and see all the pictures in the database.

Eastern 757 flights I've been on,

EWR-MCO 1987/'88

MIA-EWR 1989

Eastern flew 757s almost every where,

from EWR-
