Good looking photos Royal, you have an eye for it to be sure.
But is it just me, or does anyone else HATE the Star Alliance livery? Especially the ones that are half-and-half and whatnot.. dear gawd they're hideous!

Looks great! I must be the only one on a.net who actually likes the sleek and stylish look of this livery!
Thanks for sharing.

I actually like the new Star livery. Especially on SAS A333 with those nice engines. But I have to agree that the old Star livery didn't look good.
Very nice shot on the 777 with the new livery.

BCAInfosys, trust me your not alone. Just seeing those paint schemes makes me want to cringe. The old ANA Star Alliance scheme, well, :::::shudder:::::
P.S. No offense to any of those who like the Star Alliance scheme! Just my $.02!

Is this the first 777 to be painted in Star Livery?
Looks good (not great, just good) and very clean!
I love the "Death Star" tail. I'll never forget one day when I was based at LHR. I was walking across to T3 and I saw UA's Star 763 parked next to an AC Star plane, next to a LH Star plane, and taxiing behind was BMI Star Plane. My friends and I started imatating Darth Vader and were saying "Come to the dark side". It looked so cool, but kinda creepy and "dark".
The debate continues... Starwood or Hyatt... which is better

anyone know why some aircraft have different size lettering ?
thickness seems somewhat different :
besides the apparent shape and width differences between the 763 and 772 below......don't they appear different
or is it just an optical illusion ?

NH flies the 777-200ER to SFO, it won't take long for spotters at SFO to see the plane once it enters service.
