Hi everybody,
I just booked a 1st class ticket (with miles) between BOS and FRA on LH. It will be an
A340 on both legs. I was wondering whether it will be a LH A340 with their own 1st class
or end up flying on an ex-Sabena or ex-Swissair one with substandard seats.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Regards,
Tony

I have yet to see an ex-Sabena/Swissair at BOS.
The BOS-AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA route is pretty important for LH, so I don't think they'd put a different A340 product on it. They have 2 flights, one departing at 16h25 the other at 19h40.

Flpuck6,
It's the 16h25 flight I'm getting on. I actually flew on an ex-Sabena A330 on that route
sometime ago (very shortly after they had got it if I remember).
Sabena,
Thanks, I was not aware of that.
Both,
Thanks for the extremely speedy replies!!!!!!
Regards,
Tony

SNATH, of course the 330 you flew on was an ex-Sabena. They have been using D-AIME and AIMC on the MUC-BOS-MUC route ... last winter they used the 330s on the AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA route.
You should have an LH-LH 340. As Sabena332 said, the ex-Sabena are only 2-classes. They wouldn't dare sell you an F class seat on a 2-class aircraft! LOL.
