the new 737NG for AirTran will be moved down to the Museum of Flight on the morning of June 10, and will be there thru the evening, if anyone wants to get down there and photograph it.

LN-MOW,
That picture in your post is NOT FL's new 737.
You're showing the 'soon-to-be gone' wet-leased Ryan International A320 in FL colors (note the winglet on the left wing).
FL's new 737 has a different (and somewhat controversial) livery.

Clickhappy,
That being the case, LN-MOW should have stated that more clearly in his post. I can garauntee that if I didn't say something, someone else certainly would have.
No hard feelings LN-MOW.

Is the purpose of this just publicity? I wonder who coordinates this. I remember they brought one of Airborne Express's new 767's into MoF's lot once when I was there, and a specially painted 727 for the Rendezvous in Space stuff.
Boeing, or AirTran or someone must be especially proud

20 youths affiliated with Chris Kids, an Atlanta-based charity helping abused and neglected kids, will manually pull a Boeing 737-700 for 65 feet. Helping them will be AirTran Airways Chairman and CEO Joe Leonard, AirTran Airways President and COO Bob Fornaro, and Boeing President and CEO Harry Stonecipher plus 50 AirTran Airways crew members.
The children are in Seattle to receive a $65,000 donation from Boeing, AirTran Airways, engine manufacturer CFMI and GECAS, the aircraft leasing company. Crew members of the airline, which currently flies only Boeing 717s, are in Seattle to pick up their first Boeing Next-Generation 737.

Glad you guys got the A320, I was going to make a post about it right when it pushed the gate this morning. But I got caught up in work and forgot all about it.
The 737 will leave out there around 10:30 or 11am tomorrow.

Ugly. But I would fly it if their leg was the least expensive. Isn't that really all that it is about? But, so ugly!

Doesn't anyone know that it does no good by living in the past...and by what the new plane looks like i think Air Tran is living in the past...but i would still fly them if they came to IND!!

It would look halfway decent if the cheatline didn't curve up at the nose. If they just, from the wing forward, had it go straight towards the nose, it'd look fine.

If the AirTran logo on the forward fuselage was more prominent it wouldn't look half-bad. They are on the right track, just still slightly left of center.
